A wonderful mosaic dish made in London circa 1900 by a master of the craft who is unknown. A 9 inch tin dish was augmented with cement or a similar material and decorated with broken pieces of ceramic, shell, glass and a comb. The grout between the pieces was decorated with paint so there are no plain surfaces. There is a ceramic frog as the centerpiece of this dish. It is heavy, in excellent condition, and painted yellow on the underside.

Red lacquered papier mache tray made in France circa 1900, decorated with classical devices: a type of amphora holding fruit and leaves, fringed drapery as the border, and flower vines around the rim and scattered about, all burnished with gilding. The tray measures about 12 inches in diameter. The condition is good with small spots of missing lacquer that could be restored, no splits, chips or cracks.

A great many ferns on the very pretty paper covering this antique case that probably held a scent bottle at one time. The interior of the bottom unit and uppermost interior surface of the top unit are covered in green velvet to cushion the bottle inside. All the exterior surfaces are papered, and the piece has a delicate, feminine look. It was made in Scotland circa 1870, measures about 3-1/2 inches in height, and is in very excellent condition, with no splits or cracks. The paper covering shows a few minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
