The vases would be a wonderful addition to a mid-century decor, and would hold large, long-stemmed displays of flowers or ornamental grasses. They are an interesting three-lobed trefoil (or tripartite) tapering shape, measuring 10 inches in height, about 22 inches in diameter around the top. Each vase is marked USA with the code J3010, but no maker's mark. They were made circa 1950 and are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. They are being sold as a pair.

Woodland glaze (green and brown spatters on yellow ware) was used by Morton Pottery Company in Illinois, in business from 1922 to 1976. This mint condition pitcher has a ribbed body and exaggerated spout, deco styling dating from the 1930s. The glaze was applied on the outside surface, the base and the interior. The pitcher measures 5-5/8 inches in height and 14-1/4 inches in diameter excluding the spout and handle.
