Green and yellow bearded dog figural decanter, hollow with hole for cork. Seguso made these decanters for Luxardo in the 1960's. Length/height of the decanter is 12 inches (30cm). Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, but with Luxardo liqueur labels, import labels. Please note: there is some "debris" inside the bottle as I did not wash it out for fear of destroying the labels.

Center bowl of opalescent glass with irregular aventurine patches floating in pools of clear teal-blue. Slightly irregular oval, almost egg shaped, bowl measures a (HUGE!) 19 inches (48 cm) by 13 (33 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6 cm) deep. Bowl has a flat bottom with a polished pontil and retains its blue and silver Murano Glass, made in Italy label. Likely an Ermanno Toso design of 1950/1960. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.

Cylindrical decanter in light blue, pink and white 'a canne' with a matching globular stopper. Stopper has a clear glass flange and neck. Neither the stopper nor the neck of the bottle is ground. The bottle stands 17 1/2 inches tall with it's stopper (15 1/8 inches without) and is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. Retains its round blue and silver Made in Murano sticker on the base. There are two small black inclusions midway up the body of the decanter, each about the size of a pinhead...

This pieces sparkles! Designed by Ermanno Toso this cylindrical decanter is made with twisted pink canes and aventurine filigree. Matching stopper with clear glass flange and stem. Stopper does have burst bubble which occurred during manufacture. Decanter stands just over 18 inches (46 cm) Tall, and has no chips, cracks or repairs. Retains the blue and silver foil export label used by Fratelli Toso. Identical piece is shown in Leslie Pina's book Fratelli Toso, page 23. Excellent condition...

Large stoppered Nerox "a petoni" (patches)Decanter by Fratelli Toso in black glass with dark red and hot pink patches, designed by Ermanno Toso. Nerox is black oxide glass (nero = black, ox = oxide), and is a true black glass. This black glass is used to gather up the patches of colored glass to create the "a petoni" pattern on a black ground. There are versions of the patched pattern that use clear glass as the gather, rather than black glass...

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase in an unusual bicolor combination of black (dark reddish purple) glass cased in a medium blue opaque glass, giving the over all effect of a black interior with grey-blue exterior. Vase has an undulating rim rather than pulled points. There is a tiny pinhead size burst bubble (fleabite) to the rim, and two tiny areas with surface scratches. No cracks or repairs. Polished pontil with Fratelli Toso export label...

Signed Venini Fazzoletto (aka: handkerchief) in slightly opalescent Lemon Yellow glass; vase stands 8 inches (20 cm) tall and is 8 inches (20 cm) wide and has a polished pontil and "pulled" points. The piece is acid stamped venini/murano/ITALIA. Vases of this type were made early in the production with the more complex designs coming later. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. The murrines feature clear "windows" of glass.Some have "bullseye" configurations in the clear window and black (nerox) glass frames. This is a delightful 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter bowl with a height of 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) due to the polished top. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1955.

Decanter in pink alabastro with squared body, cylindrical neck, and a ball stopper. Stopper is white and pink alabastro; neither stopper nor decanter neck are ground. Pink Alabastro covered jar is cylindrical with a matching lid. Decanter measures 9 inches (23 cm) tall with stopper (7 1/8 inches (18 cm) without), decanter body is 3 inches (8 cm) square; jar is 7 1/4 inches (18 cm) tall with lid (5 1/8 (13 cm) without) and is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) in diameter. No chips, cracks or repairs...

Venini 'a canne' bowl in alternating stripes of red, and clear glass, with applied clear glass foot. Foot has polished pontil and is stamped Venini murano ITALIA. The bowl measures 9.75 inches (24.7 cm) in diameter and stands 5.25 inches (13.3 cm) tall. It has a wavy rim like most 'a canne' pieces. Possibly Scarpa or Paulo Venini, of 1950's vintage. The bowl is in excellent condition, with minor scratches on the bottom interior of the bowl, but no chips, cracks or repairs. This is eye-catching!

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase with undulating rim in red (exterior) and white (interior) glass. The technique for fusing the two colors of glass is known as incamiciato. The vase measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and is 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) in diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This has some minor wear to the base as expected. Some tooling marks are visible where the artist crimped the rim, these occur during manufacturing and are not damage. Circa 1950's...

White opalescent vase with turquoise stripes. Rim is pulled and curled. Retains it's blue and silver foil label Murano/Made in Italy/Glass. Height is 9 inches (22.8 cm). Minor surface scratches on the interior of the vase, but no chips, cracks or repairs. Documented "Italian Glass Century 20" by Pina, page 96. Circa 1950's
