Large stoppered Nerox "a petoni" Decanter by Fratelli Toso in black glass with dark red and hot pink patches, designed by Ermanno Toso. Nerox is black oxide glass (nero = black, ox = oxide), and is a true black glass. This black glass is used to gather up the patches of colored glass to create the "a petoni" pattern on a black ground. There are versions of the patched pattern that use clear glass as the gather, which are "nerox style" not Nerox...

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase with undulating rim in red (exterior) and white (interior) glass. The technique for fusing the two colors of glass is known as incamiciato. The vase measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and is 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) in diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This has some minor wear to the base as expected. Some tooling marks are visible where the artist crimped the rim, these occur during manufacturing and are not damage. Circa 1950's...

Intricately detailed figure of a Blackamoor holding a long cornucopia. The cornucopia doubles as a bud vase. The figure is formed of nero, lattimo and cristallo glass, and is composed of many pieces that have been blown and assembled while still hot. Designed by Ercole Barovier in 1938, these figures are extremely well made and beautiful. The figure measures 10.25 inches (26 cm) tall. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, but authenticated by Barovier. Circa 1940.

Lovely medium-size vase in alternating complex filigrana canes, one lattimo and adventurine latticino filigrana, the other retortoli filigrana comprised of opaque blue ribbons, clear blue and adventurine. Pulled points. This vase has a wonderful flowing shape. Vase measures 5.75 inches (14.6 cm) tall and is 7 inches (17.8 cm) in diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Large vase in striking clear red canne alternating with latticino filigrana. Vase stands 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) Tall and is 9.5 inches (24 cm) in diameter. Unmarked. "Button" pontil. No chips, cracks or repairs. Exterior has a couple areas of minor scuffs, base shows age wear. Interior of vase has a couple minor faint scratches on the lower sides. Circa 1950's

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase in an unusual bicolor combination of black (dark reddish purple) glass cased in a medium blue opaque glass, giving the over all effect of a black interior with grey-blue exterior. Vase has an undulating rim rather than pulled points. There is a tiny pinhead size fleabite to the rim (may be a tiny burst bubble), two tiny areas with surface scratches. No cracks or repairs. Polished pontil with Fratelli Toso export label...

Four millefiore Decanters in graduated sizes of (with stoppers) 12 1/2 inches (32 cm), 11 inches (28 cm), 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) and 8 inches (20 cm). Attenuated necks with flared tops, matched millefiore stoppers. 3 bottles have Koscherak Brothers (KB) import labels and 3 have red/gold "Made in Murano Italy" labels, the labels can be seen in the photographs. No chips, cracks or repairs to any of the pieces. Acid matte finish to the bottles. Circa 1970's

This two piece millefiore Fairylamp is beautiful when lit! The millefiore have transparent blue centers, surrounded by concentric circles of red, lattimo and gold on a lattimo ground. cased in clear glass. Dome is notched, and bowl has matching scalloped edge. Assembled lamp stands 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall, bowl is 5 5/8 inches (13 cm) in diameter. Unmarked, but have seen others with KB import label. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1970's.

Great miniature vase attributed to Fratelli Toso. Red, white and blue murrines on a red ground with an acid matte finish. Vase measures 2 inches (5 cm) tall and is 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter. No chips, cracks or repairs. Unmarked. Circa 1960's

A striking Fazzoletto vase composed of Green, dark purple and lattimo murrines, pulled points. Vase stands 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall and is 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) in diameter. Rough pontil, unmarked attributed to Fratelli Toso. No chips, cracks or repairs. A similar murrine is seen in the Leslie Pena book on Fratelli Toso on page 46. Circa 1960's.

Footed Toothpick holder in a checkered murrine pattern of a red and yellow centered flower on lattimo alternating with transparent rose-colored trefoils on a cobalt ground. Holder stands 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter. Examples of this pattern can be found in the book on Fratelli Toso by Leslie Pena on pages 86 and 87. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.
