Mold number 715 designed by William Watts Taylor in 1894 was also available as an Ewer. Several old labels and esoteric marks on the base - one label for Davis Collamore and Co., of NY, around 1884 Davis Collamore was appointed National Sales Agent for Rookwood and remained so until around 1920...

Newcomb College Art Pottery bowl with Narcissus. The sharply carved design is done in yellow, white, blue, and green glazes by Sadie Irvine. Potter was Joseph Meyer. Mr. Meyer and Miss Irvine are considered to be two of the best of Newcomb College pottery. The bowl is fully marked with the cipher for Newcomb College, artist and potters ciphers, GN46 for production year 1914. The bowl measures 6.5 inches in diameter and is 3 1/2 inches in height...

Square vase in decorated mat with a floral motif of Wisteria on one side and anemones on the other. Glaze colors are blue, green, purple, red, yellow and white, glaze is heavy in spots, and has some small burst air bubbles (pinhead size). Glaze did pool at base of article, and there are three small glaze pulls at lower edges. No cracks, chips or other damage, no repairs.
