Lovely opalescent and irridized figure of a man in a turban. The piece is very reminiscent of french opalescent glass by Lalique or Sabino. The movement of the man's arms in figure is palpable, and expresses much feeling. The glass artist who rendered this piece had a great passion for the glass. The piece stands 11 inches (28 cm) Tall and is 9 inches (23 cm) Wide, at the outstretched arms. Opalescent, irridized glass, with clear glass and gold accents. No chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned. Circa 1940.
