Pair of finely detailed and colored, heavy, original painted cast iron bookends. They feature a log cabin with a red roof, surrounded by a forest of tall trees and shrubs beneath a full moon in a midnight blue sky. The casting is high quality with the trees and cabin in relief. The colors are original in red, green, blue, gold, brown, and white. Each bookend stands 6 1/4" (15.9 cm) tall, 4 1/2" (11.4 cm) wide, 2" (5 cm) deep and weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz. (4 lbs. 8 oz. for the pair). They are in very good condition with some finish loss. Unmarked (possibly Albany Foundry) Circa 1925
