| Spectacular thick walled, heavy cylindrical glass vase by Edwin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. Vase depicts a Gondolier playing a guitar on one side, and a female figure with flowers on the other. Upper rim has closely spaced vertical air traps all the way around. Colors are in rich shades of blue, purple and honey-amber. Vase measures 6.5 inches (16 5 cm) tall and is 4.75 inches (12 cm) in diameter, weighs 11 pounds. Vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Marked on bottom: ORREFORS/Ariel 558-72/Edwin Ohrstrom, and has factory label to side. Circa 1972. | ||
