Culture: Egyptian. Date: 300 BC.(Ptolemaic). Material: Sandstone. Condition: Intact. Provenance: Ex. private collection from the 1960,s. Measurements: 10 1/2 x 11 1/4 inches (26.5 x 28.5 cms). The head of the god appears on the lower left of the reief with two columns of heiroglyphs appear on the upper right. Culture: EGYPTIAN. Date: 664 - 332 B.C. (LATE PERIOD). Material: GREEN STONE. Provenance: EX: AMERICAN PRIVATE COLLECTION; EX: EUROPEAN ART MARKET. Condition: INTACT, SUPERB. Measurements: 2.4 INCHES LONG (6.1 CMS). A very pretty large example, the upper part carved anatomically as a scarab beetle, with plain underside.
