| Culture: Egytpian. Date: 380 - 343 BC (30th dyansaty). Material: Glazed composition (faience). Condition: Intact, excellent, with custom wood base stand. Provenance: Ex: private American collection; Ex: Le Futur Anterieur Archeology Marche Vernaison, France, 1975. Measurements: 7 inches tall (17.5 cms). The mummiform with crisply molded features and finely striated tripartite wig, standing and holding a pick and a hoe with a seed bag suspended from hos left shoulder. The front inscribed with nine registers of hieroglyphic text setting forth his name and title, as well as the shabti spell from chapter VI from the Book of the Dead. A very nice and pleasing example.
