A superb Indus Valley painted terracotta hollow bird figure of a partridge, used as a childs toy whistle. Beautiful piece, intact with original pigments. Dating to circa late 3rd to early 2nd millennium BC, Chanhudaro culture. Measures 100mm length / 95mm height. Ex-private West Australian collection.
