Syria, Seleucus & Pieria, Antioch, Nero, AD 54 - 68, Silver Tertradrachm, Issued 59-60, (14.712 g) Obv Nero Laur. head right. Rev Eagle stg left. (S.617, Prieur 79, RPC 4180A) nearly Very Fine SCARCE. This coin has been attributed and valued by Noble Numismatics, one of the leading authorities on Ancient coins in the World. Coin comes complete with Noble's carded pocket. Note - some residue of broze encrustation (due to the mix of coins in the original hoard) is still present and may be removed with a delicate hand.
