A carved wooden vessel composed of two pieces, the bottom a tripod vessel, the top a lid with human body figure. The bottom has three human legs with incised toe detail and carved net design around bowl. Top has a a human body coming out of the lid, with arms hanging down and breasts exposed. A pair of wooden pulleys, one of light wood, the other of dark. Light wood has finely carved hair detail, long nose and closed eyes. Two holes for dowels on rectangular receptor arms.
Dark wood figure has incised linear pattern, almost chevron, on chest and sides. Hole from top of head through piece for dowel or rope. Light wood: 8-1/2"H, wear and losses as shown. Dark Wood: 10"H, wear and chips as shown.
