Costa Rica, 800-1200 CE. Smaller vessel painted with geometric design in center, hatching around edge, red band around outer rim, sitting upon three zoomorphic legs. Small holes on noses and ears of zoomorphs. Repair to one leg, surface wear as shown. 3-3/4"W x 3-3/4"H. Provenance: Ex-Private Colorado Collection Larger dish sits upon three decorated legs with red paint and slipped in a cream colored paint. Repairs to legs and surface losses as shown. 4"H x 5-3/4"D.
