Rare! Gupta Period, India, Ca 500 CE. Pottery rattle in the form of a rotund seated figure - possibly early representation of Buddha, left hand to his knee, right near hi belly, wearing large necklace. Hollow-molded with rattling stones inside. 11cm high. Intact and excellent. Bolivia / Argentina, 18th century CE. Very fine single spur made of hand-forged iron with silver inlays and pins. This would have been worn by a very elite caballero as he tended his herd of cows in the pampas. Very large example measuring 10"L (25cm), intact/excellent condition. Would make a wonderful display accent! Provenance: Ex-Sarkisian Collection, Denver, CO Authenticity Guarantee |
