From the ancient Near East, Sassanian Empire, ca. 224-651 AD. Silver dish with curved rim, incised animal in center, possibly Ibex, encircled by crosshatching. Bottom is rounded to a slight point in middle. Appears to be silvered bronze. 6-3/4"D. Some dents and surface wear, other wise good condition.
