Mayan Eccentric Flint in Form of Lizard
Pre-Columbian, Maya, Guatemala, Ca 500 to 800 CE. Eccentric flint, knapped from semi-translucent chert in the form of a lizard. The lizard's features are very distinct with triangular head, four squarish legs and small pointed tail. 4-3/8"L x 2-7/8"H. Small chip on tail, else quite choice with nice surface deposits. Custom stand available for small additional fee.
