Costa Rican Jadeite Bird Effigy Celt/Pendant

Guanacaste, Nicoya Region, Costa Rica, ca. 200-600 CE. The stone itself is breathtakingly beautiful for its variegated coloring and translucency. The piece is drilled near the beak for suspension. Custom, museum-quality stand. 7-3/4"L, Near choice!
