Pre-Columbian, Mexico, ca. 200 BCE to 500 CE. Interesting lot of 6 miniature vessels from Western Mexico. Included are three shallow bowls, a deeper bowl, tripod in blackware and buffware jar. Size: Largest measures 3-1/4" in diameter. Frame measures 10-5/8"H x 8-5/8"W x 3" in diameter (27 cm x 22 cm x 7.6 cm).
Condition: Intact with minor chipping throughout.
Provenance: Ex-private Martine collection, Centennial, CO, acquired by family descent in 2002; previously acquired by relatives in Mexico in 1950's and brought into United States in early 1970's.
