Europe, Denmark, ca. 2400 BCE. A remarkable Danish Neolithic napped flint dagger with a biface blade of a predominantly caramel-hued stone with dark grey and cream hued highlights. This piece of prehistoric weaponry comes to us from the collection of the late John Piscopo, a knowledgeable connoisseur with a keen eye. During his lifetime, Mr. Piscopo amassed an impressive ensemble of daggers, swords, knives, axes, and other weapons from all over the globe. Size: 6" L x 1.875" at widest (15.2 cm x 4.8 cm)
