Delicate... Ancient Roman Glass Beaker, ca. 1st century A.D. Light amber-colored glass with a faint green tinge. This beaker, whose profile tapers out towards the top, has a slightly bulging lip with cracked-off rim and wheel-cut lines around the body. Rests upon a pushed-in circular base. Areas of encrustation, with blue, purple and green iridescent highlights. 4-7/8"H, intact/excellent condition, save minor rim roughness.
