Oval cluster ring with closely set tear drop and round blue turquoise with tiny rain drops between the outer stones on a split shank. Appealing design and symmetry. The size of this ring is 8 1/2 and the length is 1 1/4. It dates from 1950.

This low bowl shaped single rod basket has a very strong uniform black design composed of diagonal bands of stepped rectangles going up and to the right which is repeated three times. This basket is from a California collection which has been in the family through three generations. The measurements of this basket are h. 3" d. 7 ¼" and dates from 1940.

A twined basket with lid. It is not uncommon for the designs on Makah baskets to be realistic. In this case, the eagle very closely resembles the emblem for the National Recovery Act. One could argue it is also "Thunderbird' clutching a long red arrow. There is a very small stain on the bottom of the basket. The measurements of this basket are h. 2 ½" d. 4 ¾" and dates from 1940.

Twine basket with the lid that has bands of polychrome design including designs around the body which appear to be drawn from 19th century samplers. The finely executed images include weeping willows, robins, and red flowers intermixed with geometric designs more typical of early 20th century Nootka basketry. The colors are bright with minimal fading around the lid. The height of bottle is 12 3/8" and dates roughly from 1950.

Exceptionally detailed and artistically fine scrimshaw. One side has a biting bear supping on a slippery seal sliding into the sea. The other side has a Happy Hunter harpooning a hapless wailing walrus.
