| Twine basket with the lid that has bands of polychrome design including designs around the body which appear to be drawn from 19th century samplers. The finely executed images include weeping willows, robins, and red flowers intermixed with geometric designs more typical of early 20th century Nootka basketry. The colors are bright with minimal fading around the lid. The height of bottle is 12 3/8" and dates roughly from 1950. | ||
