| A twined basket with lid. It is not uncommon for the designs on Makah baskets to be realistic. In this case, the eagle very closely resembles the emblem for the National Recovery Act. One could argue it is also "Thunderbird' clutching a long red arrow. There is a very small stain on the bottom of the basket. The measurements of this basket are h. 2 ½" d. 4 ¾" and dates from 1940. | ||
