Description: RARE, modern chic, vintage 1967 manual wind OLD ENGLAND Pop Art watch: candy apple red face, gold-plated metal case with white enameled accent, and oversized white PVC plastic band. Book Piece: Similarly styled Old England watch featured on page 103 of Marsh's "Miller's Collecting the Sixties." Designer: Richard Loftus. Manufacturer: Accurist, London. Period: 1960s. Origin: Made in Switzerland. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with age appropriate patina on watch base and clasp. There are no tears to the broad, white PVC strap, but there is faded red splotching. Crystal is in fine condition and free of scratches. Movement runs smoothly and keeps time. Approx.
