Description: Casual western chic is brilliantly captured by this rare and eclectic vintage Patricia Smith Moon Bag. Yes, indeed, unlike many of her Moon Bags, this bucketed leather shoulder bag has the signature Patricia Smith lacquered panel riveted to the top flap, which also incorporates a magnetic closure on the underside to provide secure closure. Patricia Smith, a renowned Milwaukee artist, designed the artwork on the lacquered panel herself, which features a Native American influenced motif with wonderful turquoise nugget accents. The tan leather sections of the bag are embossed with an unusual, but stunning, abstract design. The bag's mid-section is a high contrast, cream colored, vinyl-coated, wet look material with a marking on its reverse, which can be viewed in picture four of the pictorial montage. The interior is a pristine light beige grosgrain with zippered side pocket. Designer: Patricia Smith. Period: 1980s. Origin: U.S.A. Hallmarks: "MOON BAGS, Patricia Smith Designs, Milwaukee" on interior tag. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: 10 1/2" h x 10 1/2" l x 4 1/4" w; strap drop of 24".
