| A nicely sculpted Chinese cast copper Yaoguai or taoist demon. In an animated stance with hands clasping and a small lion on the back which probably held incense. Painted with a red and gold lacquer. It dates to the early 18th century or before. It measures 8 inches high (21 cm) or 12 inches on its pedestal stand (31cm). | ||
