Porcelain with overglaze enamels

A mid - Qianlong period export porcelain teapot, potted in the most charming lobed melon shape with a spayed petal-like foot. The body is decorated with continuous landscape scenes showing everyday life along a river harbor, with men and women fishing, boating, crossing bridges, and walking along shores. The enameling color palette is also quite interesting, without 'warm' colors such as pinks and light yellows, this teapot cannot be considered famille rose; and yet the predominate use of blues and greens found in famille verte is further enhanced with enamel colors like aubergine and lime green, which were new to the 18th c and not part of the standard famille verte repertoire.
Condition:1 cm shallow chip to the teapot cover, 0.7 cm chip to the mouth rim. Hairline around the bottom of the handle. Various original firing spots and areas where the glaze has fritted or pulled (normal for the period). [Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part of the condition report.]
