The typical floral motifs of Blue and White Plates of the Hoi An ware consist of 4 different kinds of flowers as Mai, Lan, Cuc and Truc, representing 4 seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

This porcelain blue and white dish painted with with the character phuc (wealth) within a chrysanthemum stem below the alternating scrolling leafy border.

Age: 15th century, late tran dynasty, Early Le dynasty.
Measurement: Diameter 22.8 C.M./ Heigh 5 C.M.
Condition: A chip on the edge. A chip on the bottom near the foot. The glaze is still shiny. Please refer to the enlarged photos for more details.
