Hoi An Blue and White floral motif dish The typical floral motifs of Blue and White Plates of the Hoi An ware consist of 4 different kinds of flowers as Mai, Lan, Cuc and Truc, representing 4 seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

A blue and white glaze ceramic dish painted with a Lan or Peony in the center enclosed by a double line border set with cloud scrolls below a border of foliage vine scrolls.

Age: Late 15th century-Early 16th century, late tran dynasty, Early Le dynasty.
Measurement: Diameter 24 C.M./ Height 5.6 C.M.
Condition: Minor firing flaws. Deep dark blue color. The glaze on the interior is more shiny than the exterior. Please refer to the enlargement photograph.
