 Burmese Woven Lacquered Rice Covered Basket
A covered round bucket-shaped rice basket with four small legs, made of woven bamboo thread and coated with black and red (cinnabar) lacquer, with three metal supports for threading to secure the cover and also for transportation.

Age: Northern Burma, 19th century, Mandalay period.
Measurement: Diameter 20 C.M. / Height 42.8 C.M.
Condition: Very good condition, with natural surface wears from usage. Please refer to the enlargement photos for more details.
