A Rare Set of 14 Burmese Black Lacquer Disciples Part 3

Fourteen disciples of the Buddha in three different sizes are depicted here sitting with two legs folded back on square bases, with two hands raised on the chests in the respecting gesture, decorated with black lacquer.

Shown here are the 7 small-sized disciples in the group.

Age: Burmese, Mandalay period, 19th century.
Measurement: Width 4.8-5.8 C.M. / Height 12.3-14 C.M.
