19th Century, Thai Ivory Long Handle for Monk's Fan
Ivory long handle used for Buddhist priest or monk's fan. The handle consists of 4 detachable parts. The material of fan handle represents the status of monk. Ivory handle is used by high-level monk only. A fan is put on top of a handle and used for closing monk's face while praying in ritual ceremony.

Age: Thailand, Rattanakosin period, circa 19th century
Measurement: Height 53.8 C.M. / Diameter 2.8 C.M.
