A Chinese Blanc de Chine model of the immortal Budai standing on a rocky outcrop. The corpulent divinity is shown wearing a simple patched robe fastened over the shoulder and slung under his ample stomach where it is fastened with floral pins. The figure with a necklace of beads hanging on his right hand. His left hand grasping a large hanging sack. Made in the Dehua kilns in Fujian province.
