| Wonderful 1920's tooled leather handbag of Arts and Crafts design. The frame is silver plated brass and is signed JEMCO and stamped PAT.1-25-21. The leather is in fine condition for it's age with no dry rot. The leather still has a buttery feel!!! The overall condition is fine with normal usage wear and the strap does have a section of edge stitching missing but can be easily repaired by a leather craftsman. The handbag with strap measures 10 1/2" high, without including the strap it measures 6" high x 5 1/4" wide. This wonderful wearable art can still be utilize as a functional hand bag or could be hung for display. | ||
