Large Antique Georgian Bell Bowl Wine Glass c.1750

DESCRIPTION:
This glass, with real presence, has a bell bowl with a solid teared base above a plain straight stem with a continuation of the tear from the bowl all standing on a plain conical foot. Although a relatively common form this example is larger and heavier than average (weighing 282 g) and remains an eminently practical glass to drink from.

Bowl diameter – 31⁄8 inches;
Foot diameter – 3 5⁄16 inches.
