DESCRIPTION:
An elegant and pretty Georgian wine glass of lead crystal with an ogee bowl engraved with traditional vine and grape motif and “ho ho” bird standing on a delicate double series opaque twist stem made up of a lace twist inside a pair of 4-ply spiral bands standing on a plain conical foot. DIMENSIONS: Height 5⅞ inches; Bowl diameter 2 inches; Foot diameter 2⅝ inches. CONDITION: In good original condition with a reasonable amount wear. There is a slightly rough and discoloured patch on the bowl rim which looks to be from manufacture and is much less noticeable than the photographs represents it. No restoration. |
