Several features go into making this glass a rarity. The bucket shaped bowl is an uncommon form and the triple series white opaque twist is even more rare. However, seeing these features in a goblet is pretty well unique. The skill in making such a harmonious, beautifully proportioned and tastefully understated glass is a tribute to the artisans who helped Georgian and Regency Britain reach the pinnacle of sophisticated classical aesthetics… aesthetics that permeated right through the nation's culture from high art and architecture to the simplest of domestic artifacts.
