A fine and elegant Newcastle light baluster wine glass with trumpet bowl above a composite stem made up of shoulder knop above a beaded and cushioned half-knop leading to an inverted baluster knop below which is a knop proper all standing on a plain conical foot. The glass is made typically good quality lead metal and fashioned with all the skill one associates with the Newcastle glasshouses. The bowl shows good striation and tooling marks on what is a fairly scarce bowl form for this light baluster group of glasses.

Bowl diameter 2¾ inches;
Foot diameter 3 inches.
In excellent condition with light wear to the underside of the foot and bowl rim.
