Sales Policy
My dolls and related items will be shipped through USPS.
I ship mostly priority. If the price of a large box is high to ship priority, then at check out I am leaving shipping amount blank so you can contact me. I will give you the prices of priority versus standard post. If you have another preference, please contact me for shipping method or carrier.
Buyers are responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Full insurance is required on purchases over $50.00, and insurance will be INCLUDED in my posted postage price.
Idaho residents are required to pay the state sales tax.

I charge shipping costs with no handling fee. I am estimating shipping costs from my location in the west to the east. If the actual shipping cost and insurance is less than what you paid me, I will refund the difference if it exceeds more than $1.00.

Domestic Customers: I accept Paypal (preferred), money orders, certified checks or personal checks. Checks will be held until clear. Other payment methods will ship immediately.

International Customers: I have not yet decided if I want to ship internationally, so please contact me to discuss this option. Thank you.

Unless agreed to in advance, all payments through Paypal including shipping costs are due withing 3 days of purchase. Checks must be received within 7 days of purchase.

If you are asking questions about an item, considering a purchase, or making an offer the item will not be held until purchase is actually made.


I endorse the Doll Shops United site-wide return policy which reads as follows:

Please read the Return Policy of the shop you do business with before completing your order. Shop policies will state any restocking fees, requirements for insurance and tracking, and any instructions for safe packaging of the return. The individual doll shops at Doll Shops United agree to abide by our published Code of Ethics which goes hand in hand with our Return Policy.

If you are not happy with your purchase, please follow these steps:

Contact the doll shop within 48 hours of receipt to request a return.

Once the shop owner has acknowledged the return, you will then have 4 days from acknowledgement to ship the item back to the shop in accordance with the shop's policy for insurance and tracking.

Typically, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Once the returned item is received by the originating shop, the contents will be inspected to verify completeness and condition as sent, and the shop will have a maximum of 4 days to refund the buyer.

Goods Damaged During Shipment

If an item is damaged during shipment, please contact the shop to notify them within 48 hours of receipt. Please keep all packaging materials and the box, since typically, insurance coverage requires inspection by the issuing agent. The individual shop owner will guide this process.

For my individual shop requirements , I ask that the item be packed carefully as received and that the insurance be done on your end also for items over $50.00. Please read my complete Layaway Policy regarding returns if you plan to do layaway.
