Bella Pallik (1845-1908) was a Hungarian artist born in Nagymihaly, Zemplen county in 1845. Aside from studying painting in Vienna and Munich, Pallik was an opera singer in Germany and at Tata. Though known for his portraits (especially of counts Elemer Batthyany and Istvan Karolyi) he was most famous for his paintings of sheep (mostly owned by the Hungarian National Gallery).
