Perfect for a very grand doll’s house is this tiny sterling montieth bowl and matching tray in Seventeenth Century style. Both pieces bear incredibly exact details: articulated mask handles, gadrooning and fluting. Of recent manufacture, they are numbered as being 213 out of an edition of 500. Bowl is 7/8 of an inch tall and 1-1/4 inches in diameter; tray is 1-5/8 inches in diameter.

A lovely bit of nostalgia for the lover of French cafe life, this porcelain pyrogene promotes quinine-laced Dubonnet, still a great favorite throughout the world, and announces that the aperitif won the Grand Prix at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900. In full sail on a bright, sunny day is portrayed the Norwegian clipper ship "Anna," originally "Anna of Bergen." Launched in 1868, she was dubbed the "Sailing Queen of Norway" and plied the seas in a long and distinguished career before being restored and retired to serving as the tall-ship training vessel she is today. Very South-of-the-Border are these two tripod cups which combine design elements of the Old World with Aztec traditions. Shaped rather like braziers, the bodies are topped with a collar of paneled flutes, the feet are like upside-down lion's-paws and an acorn finial drops from below. A very elegant baluster-shaped jug, the lavish copper-luster surfaces are extraordinarily well preserved. Raised decoration of vines and grapes and flowers float above a ground molded to resemble beaten copped. Each side is further adorned with a central floral nosegay in rose, green and yellow opaque glazes. They only discernible flaw to the piece is some chipping to one of the roses. English, circa 1850. Approximately 7-1/4 inches tall by 6-1/2 inches wide and 4-3/4 inches deep.
