This amulet in the form if the mummified God Osiris was wrapped in the funeral bindings of a person of note in the Late Dynastic period of Egypt, approximately 700 BC. It is in very fine condition but for the transmuting of the original jade-green color to a mossy shade. Approximately 2-1/2 inches tall by 5/8 of an inch at the foot. Crisp molding.

Deeply molded with the Eye of Horus (wedjet,) the Feather of Truth floating above, this ancient Egyptian pendant promised protection in the underworld to its wearer. Approximately 1-5/8 inches by 1-7/8 inches, is is in very fine condition, with one chip to the upper right-hand border. Nice grooen color. Late New Kingdom,circa 1200 B.C.

In cloud form, this delightful amulet was probably presented to an infant to be worn at all times for sanctity and good luck. One side is carved with sprays of flowers (orchids?)and foliage, the other with characters for prosperity and happiness. Gowned in court finery and garlanded in flowers, the Goddess Flora steps into a glade of poppy capsules (?) surrounded by stylized floral borders -- beauty in full bloom! Finely decorated and mysterious, this beautiful coyote scull displays naturalistic and western Native American motifs all over its upper surfaces. Approximately seven inches by three inches, this handsome repousse and finely cast silver reliquary consists of a hinged frame attached to a rococo handle. The hinged front opens to contain a relic or painting (there is now a mirror.) The tourgha mark of quality is about nine o'clock on the back of the main body, although it is hard to find in the elaborate working of the rococo work.
