Approximately seven inches by three inches, this handsome repousse and finely cast silver reliquary consists of a hinged frame attached to a rococo handle. The hinged front opens to contain a relic or painting (there is now a mirror.) The tourgha mark of quality is about nine o'clock on the back of the main body, although it is hard to find in the elaborate working of the rococo work.

Elegantly graceful and in beautiful condition, this rare pair of classical sterling silver cups bear hallmarks that indicate that they were created by a Lisbon silversmith at the end of the Eighteenth Century. In crisp condition, the bright-cut engravings depict floral festoons encircling a frontal oval blank (never engraved!) topped by a basket of flowers. Approximately 3-1/4 inches at the widest point and 2-5/8 inches high, they weigh a bit over six ounces Troy.

Of high purity and masterful execution, this Nineteenth Century bowl from the workshop of noted Hong Kong silversmith Wang Hing is profusely decorated with flowering prunus branches on a ground of cracking ice, a fine vision of springtime. It is approximately 4-7/8 inches in diameter and 2-5/8 inches high.

This top-quality serving tray from noted Hong Kong silversmith Wang Hing is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear. A finely engraved dragon-in-clouds circles around the center an attached high-relief pie-crust border. Approximately eight inches in diameter and a half-inch deep.

This elegant footed silver cup, of exquisite design and fine weight,is in beautiful condition and bears the hallmark of Yenson, along with two other Chinese marks of high purity. On the central band, graceful bamboo branches float against the night sky, the full moon providing a space for engraving -- never executed on this piece. Approximately 3-1/2 inches high and 3-5/8 inches across at the handle.

With a chiseled design of prunus blossoms on a ground of cracked ice, symbols of spring, this gem bears the mark the silversmith, Luen Wo, and is in excellent condition. Approximately 4-1/4 inches tall and 2-3/4 inches in diameter.

Three finely engraved Chinese characters are featured on a delicately hammered ground. Elegantly simple, the piece is of excellent weight and in fine condition. Approximately 3-3/4 inches in diameter and a half-inch high, it has a maker's mark "C.J."(?),"Sterling" and a Chinese character.

Made for export around 1870, this 11-piece dressing set, in its original lacquer fitted case, is of extraordinary purity (approximately 950/1000) and weight, the powder box alone weighing in at about 11 ounces. Featuring finely martèle surfaces within plain borders, the decoration is elegantly reserved...

An excellent example of Neo-Rococo design is this Scottish sterling silver coffee pot of baluster form, hallmarked by James McKay, Edinburgh, 1847-48, with its sweeping ogee ivory-insulated handle and corresponding spout. It is approximately 12-1/2 inches high and 9-1/4 inches at the widest points and is superbly engraved with a Rococo “R” on one side; the condition is mint.

Bearing hallmarks of St Petersburg, 1878, this refined heavyweight, solid silver salver has a lustrous, matted finish of old salt-applied gilt, lending it the tone of green gold. In excellent condition, it is approximately 8-1/2 inches in diameter and half-an-inch deep, and is of 84 zolodniks purity.

Beautiful crescent-shaped sterling silver decanter labels are enhanced by bright-cut designs and the content designations, "SHERRY" and "PORT" and retain their fine, hand-wrought chains. They bear the hallmark of Joseph Preedy, who worked in London around 1770. Approximately 1-5/8 inches by 1-5/8 inches.

A lovely sterling silver label with elaborate hand-formed gadroon borders and corner designs, this label has a hand-wrought silver chain. Its one hallmark, “IH” is only lightly visible. Approximately one inch by two inches. Circa 1760.
