An excellent example of Neo-Rococo design is this Scottish sterling silver coffee pot of baluster form, hallmarked by James McKay, Edinburgh, 1847-48, with its sweeping ogee ivory-insulated handle and corresponding spout. It is approximately 12-1/2 inches high and 9-1/4 inches at the widest points and is superbly engraved with a Rococo “R” on one side; the condition is mint.

Elegantly graceful and in beautiful condition, this rare pair of classical sterling silver cups bear hallmarks that indicate that they were created by a Lisbon silversmith at the end of the Eighteenth Century. In crisp condition, the bright-cut engravings depict floral festoons encircling a frontal oval blank (never engraved!) topped by a basket of flowers. Approximately 3-1/4 inches at the widest point and 2-5/8 inches high, they weigh a bit over six ounces Troy.

Rather like something out of "The Last Days of Pompeii" is this wonderful sterling silver tripod tazza, with its Neo-Classical and Psuedo-Renaissance elements combined in great style. Attached chains and pinecones hang between a collar below and a pierced one above with ginko leaves. There is an exquisite monogram very much in the style of the tazza.
