This finely detailed squash-form bowl is from Sanborn in Mexico City and exemplifies the quality for which they are noted. In the form of a larger Spanish Colonial serving bowl, it boasts excellent appliquéd and repoussed details. It is approximately two inches high and 5-1/4 inches wide at the handles.

This fine knife exemplifies the elegant, Aztec-inspired style for which famous Mexican silversmith/designer Hector Aguilar was known. Measuring approximately six inches by 1-1/4 inches, it dates from around 1935.
