This beautifully decorated try shows a carefully depicted horse that appears to be getting readied for the horse festival. It comes with the original box, lined with cushioned felt. This bowl is carefully decorated with a motif of butterflies within gilt netting on both interior and exterior. Other than some very minor gilt loss, the condition is excellent. It measures 6 1/8" x 2 7/8" and dates about 1910.

The elephant motif on this finely decorated, unusually formed plate was likely inspired by a similar decoration used by Yabu Meizan. The condition is excellent with only some light wear to the rim. It measures 8.75" x 8.25" and bears the the Yasuda studio mark, along with a Kanzan mark seal in gilt on the reverse side. This item is Meiji Period and dates about 1900 - 1910.

This plate is an example of Kinkozan's work on porcelain and does not exhibit the crazing that is associated with Satsuma. The scene depicts early autumn in a rural village with the maple leaves just beginning to change color. The condition is very good with little handling wear and no restorations. The reverse side bears an impressed Kinkozan zo mark and a Kinkozan gilt seal. It dates about 1900 - 1910.

This is a highly unusual example of cloisonne with applied silver overlay. The silver is decorated with subtle chase work, adding an elegant touch to this interesting piece. There are multiple lines on the body of the vase as can be seen in the images, but we took the rarity of the piece into consideration when we purchased it. It measures 6" x 1.1", is artist signed on the underside and dates about 1900 - 1920.

This finely enameled box subtly elegant, showing Mt. Fuji above the clouds over a muted green ground color. There is some minor original pitting and a few very shallow surface scratches, but the overall condition is excellent. It measures 4.25" x 3.25" x 1.75" and dates about 1910 - 1930.

This is a very nice example of Kinkozan's work on porcelain, showing four gilt and silver applied dragons over a mottled blue ground. The dragons are finely detailed,with all of their scales and claws being well defined. There is some gilt wear around the rim, but the overall condition is very good. It measures 8.5" x 3.75" and dates about 1900 - 1915.

This plate shows a single scene of a samurai walking with his entourage. Each figure's attire is well detailed in gilt and enamel with beautiful use of color. This lovely miniature bowl is in pristine condition, with no repairs, restorations or retouching of the gilt work. The exterior is decorated with children engaged in a variety of pursuits, including a wonderful scene in which they are watching an artist paint. The interior shows loosely scattered butterflies in the center, surrounded by finely enameled draping wisteria. It measures 2 5/8" across by 1 3/4" in height and dates about 1900 - 1910.

This is a fine example from the Kinkozan studio, showing two scenes over a cobalt ground with beautiful gilt reserves. Each scene is carefully enameled in vibrant colors. Gold stippling is used masterfully in the scenes to add tone to the sky in the backgrounds. The shoulder of the vase has sculpted chrysanthemums highlighted in gold. The condition is nearly perfect and it dates about 1900 - 1910. It measures 6.25" x 4".

The ground color on this Kinkozan impressed vase is a very unusual deep brown which beautifully contrasts the fine gilt work applied over it. There are two scenes, one showing a man on horseback arriving at a house with entourage as onlookers view them from a bridge in background. The other showing a family in rural setting. It measures 4.8" x 3.8" and dates about 1900. The condition is excellent.
