Nazca,Southern Peru, Ca 200 to 300 AD. Polychrome stirrup vessel painted with the Nazca Lord of the Under World clutching two small heads, his body morphed into spiny slithering creature from which two legs emerge, another head at the tail extending a long serpantine tongue. 18 cnt H and 17 diameter.
Condition: Minor evident paint loss unrepaired, otherwise intact.
