| Greek, c. 6th - 4th Century B.C. Core-Formed glass amphoriskos. Cobalt blue in color, ovoid in shape with rounded shoulders, a cylindrical neck and inward sloping disk rim, with opaque yellow and blue threads wound spirally on the body, marvered and tooled into a zigzag pattern on the middle of the body, shallow vertical indentations on the body from the tooling, with twin dark blue vertical handles and a knob-base. Good quality, part of body restored. Size: 6.5 cm H. Provenance: Private Catalan Collection (Spain), 1990. Ref: PV5. Price: 1900 euros. Provided of export license. | |||||||
