AN ATTIC RED-FIGURE COLUMN-KRATER attributed to the painter of the louvre centauromachy classical period, circa 450 b.c. The A-side with a nude satyr playing the aulos, a maenad running right and holding a large amphora, a Dyonisos holding a Kantharos and a tyrsos, a torch in her right hand, the neck with an elongated bud frieze; the B-side with three draped youths; with vertical bands of ivy framing each scene, a band of tongue on the shoulders, with black silhouette animals on the rim (33.5 cm.) high Provenance: From a private Catalan collection.
